Going To Sleep With Makeup On?

Let's keep it real! We all have those lazy nights when we do not feel like washing off our makeup. The gruesome task of getting up, going to the bathroom, splashing water on your face, and scrubbing off that beauty mask feels like mission impossible. All we want to do is lay in bed and fall asleep (or wake up beautiful hehehe)!

Well you are not alone, and beauty companies are well aware of this 1st world misery. They are so aware of this, that they've saved us the time and torture by creating many different products that wipe off your makeup in a matter of seconds. Ok maybe minutes, but you still get my point.

Welcome to the new age facial cleanser. Beauty companies have created everything from gels, to oils, to wipes that clean off all that makeup without the hassle of soap and water. These gentle products can be used easily and effectively by following simple steps to remove makeup, and its residue. All you basically need is cotton balls, and a free hand to tackle the mission of wiping off all your hard-work. Yes! Hard-work, because let's be honest, our face becomes a canvas for a makeup masterpiece (aka BEAT!).

There are so many brands that carry all kinds of solutions to cleansing your face of the gunk, however each person has their own preference so the right solution depends on your skin sensitivity, and budget. My favorites at the moment are: Simple, KloraneAvene, and good ol' Dollar Tree. You can find micellar water, cleansing oils, gels, lotions, and wipes within these brands. Prices range from $1-$24.

Note: Try your hardest not to go to sleep with makeup on. It takes YEARS off your beauty, and clogs your pores which can lead to breakouts. It's always a good idea to wash your face thoroughly with a facial cleanser at least 3 times a week, however these makeup remover alternatives mentioned above are for those nights (or occasions) when you don't have the time, or the stamina to do so. I always say, it's better to do something, than nothing at all. Nonetheless, be sure to wash your face in the morning if you do not wash it the night before. Lastly, cleanse, tone, and moisturize.  This keeps your face squeaky clean, and hydrated.

Stay Beautiful!
